This summer on Oléron, you will be transported!

The Community of municipalities of the island of Oléron and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region offer you a whole range of possibilities for getting around:

In partnership with Oléron campsites and hotels which are committed to the environment, in July and August, free shuttles serve the island 7 days a week. Among the destinations served: the Chassiron lighthouse, Le Château d’Oléron, Boyardville, La Cotinière, the Huttes and Rémigeasse beaches, Saint-Pierre d’Oléron, Le Grand-Village-Plage, Saint-Trojan les Bains… the shuttles run 14 times a day at each stop!

All these summer shuttles are connected to the lines of the Les Mouettes network which cross the island of Oléron and reach:

  •        La Rochelle (line 23)
  •        Rochefort (lines 6, 6 express and 23)
  •        Surgères (line 6 et 6 express)
  •        Saintes (line 8)


The island of Oléron is also:

Over 140 km of cycle routes,

And the Ile d´Oléron – La Rochelle sea link, served to the Boyardville pier by summer shuttles.
